Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Washington is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily operations, lease administration, and resident satisfaction. You will manage site contracts, maintenance, reporting, and ensure excellent service for residents and clients.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of property management experience, and 1–2 years of direct management. A real estate license is preferred; Salesforce.com and Yardi Voyager experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
• One to two years of direct management experience is required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license preferred in some locations; Salesforce.com knowledge preferred; Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the property including resident satisfaction and retention, full resident lifecycle activities, property P&L, and property marketing.
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, give corrective feedback, and hire staff.
• Lead and develop associates, communicate a shared vision, and provide coaching.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with corporate on maintenance and landlord rules.
• Maintain professional knowledge, attend workshops, and build networks.
• Organize site emergency evacuation plans and manage safety records.
• Other duties as assigned.
