Job summary

Avenue5 Residential in Washington state seeks a Property Manager to oversee daily operations, leases, rent collection, and marketing while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

You will lead a team, recruit and coach staff, manage vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with property management guidelines. A strong focus on safety, reporting, and client satisfaction is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelors degree preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management required.
• One to two years of direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property including resident satisfaction and retention, full resident lifecycle activities (lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management), property P&L, and property marketing.
• Meet client expectations and provide an excellent customer service experience.
• Recruit, interview, perform corrective feedback, and hire staff.
• Lead and coach associates with a shared vision and development.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Follow operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with the corporate office.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and networking.
• Organize site emergency evacuation plans.
• Manage safety records, loss claims, and risk management.
