Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Property Manager to oversee daily property operations, including lease administration, rent collection, and marketing, while ensuring an exceptional resident experience.

Ideal candidates will manage client expectations, supervise staff, and drive safety, compliance, and performance across the property. A real estate background is preferred and Salesforce/Yardi experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years property management experience required.
• 1–2 years direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations including resident satisfaction, rent collection, and property P&L.
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire staff.
• Lead and coach associates with a shared vision and development.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Respond to resident complaints and enforce landlord rules.
• Maintain professional knowledge through trainings and networks.
• Organize site safety plans and manage risk and claims.
• Other duties as assigned.
