Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Multifamily to support on-site operations at Chatham Square in Orlando, FL. You will handle make-ready tasks, respond to resident service requests, and ensure timely, quality move-in experiences.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and hands-on maintenance skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs. Travel between properties may be required and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license, EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate.
• Ability to read/ understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
• Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares make ready apartments, including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Responds to resident requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintains grounds, pools, common areas, and amenities to keep them clean and safe.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies.
• Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Reports maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to supervisor.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents the company professionally.
