Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily housing. The role focuses on delivering quality move-ins, resident satisfaction, and prompt service while performing general maintenance tasks on-site.

The technician will handle plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and seasonal duties, while maintaining safety and professional standards. This is an on-site position with on-call responsibilities and training participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
• 1+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make ready apartments including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general repairs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of maintenance functions: plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
• Keep grounds, pools and common areas safe and clean.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform scheduled maintenance.
• Comply with state/federal fair housing laws.
• Attend Cushman & Wakefield trainings.
• Deliver superior customer service in a professional manner.
• Dress per uniform and appearance standards.
• Maintain safety procedures and protect tools/equipment.
• Demonstrate punctual on-site attendance and report lateness.
• Perform other duties as required.
