Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician focused on delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include handling maintenance requests, ensuring community upkeep, and performing preventative maintenance.

This role requires strong technical skills, including plumbing and electrical work, as well as a valid EPA certification. The ideal candidate should have experience in apartment maintenance and be able to work in various outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills as it relates to apartment maintenance.
• Handle tile work, carpentry repairs and all facets of the make ready process.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Ensure upkeep of community appearance by replacing lightbulbs and performing repairs.
