Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance service requests at our community. You will be customer-focused and work with a team to maintain make-readies, grounds, pools, and preventative maintenance.

You will respond to requests promptly, coordinate tasks with the maintenance supervisor, provide excellent resident and vendor service, and perform electrical, plumbing, and other systems work.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification desired.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification preferred.
• Demonstrate technical skills relevant to apartment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety issues and report or repair as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and make-ready.
• Maintain community appearance and perform repairs as needed.
• Record service and maintenance in Onesite (records).
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, notices, and inspections.
