Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance service requests for the community.

You will respond quickly, perform preventative maintenance, make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance as needed, and collaborate with the maintenance team to keep residents safe and satisfied. The ideal candidate has at least six months of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification highly desired.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete necessary repairs.
• Ensure upkeep of community appearance and safety standards.
• Accurately complete records in Onesite regarding service requests and make-readies.
• Perform electrical and plumbing work as required.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and other tasks as needed.
