Job summary

Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance service requests for our community.

You will work as part of a team to perform make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and preventative maintenance while delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role requires at least six months of maintenance experience, a high school diploma (trade-school certification desired), and EPA certifications.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• High School Diploma preferred; certification from an accredited trade school highly desired.
• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license for Low Speed Vehicles.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays; English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety issues and report or correct them as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
