Camden Development, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with make-ready tasks in a residential community.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety awareness, and teamwork to keep residents satisfied. Responsibilities include coordinating with the maintenance team, responding quickly to requests, and performing electrical, plumbing, and general repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience, preferably in an apartment or multi‑family setting.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification is highly desirable.
• EPA Type I/II/Universal certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge in maintenance tasks, including tile work, carpentry, and make‑ready processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete service requests promptly.
• Coordinate with supervisor and team to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and correct or report them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move‑in and required repairs.
• Maintain community appearance: lighting, trash removal, painting, and small repairs.
• Document service requests and maintenance actions in Onesite.
