Job summary

Bell Partners seeks a maintenance associate to manage interior and exterior upkeep at our communities. You will respond to repair requests, perform routine maintenance, and support safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma and 1–3 years of maintenance experience, plus basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills. HVAC/CPO may be required depending on community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong customer service

Responsibilities

• Always show respect for residents and community staff, providing excellent customer service
• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance, as well as equipment maintenance as scheduled and requested
• Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff
• Report equipment malfunctions and breakdowns as well as any hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner
• Maintain resident privacy and receive proper authority before entering resident apartments
• Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries
• Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned
• Work with vendors as instructed, such as landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements
• Regular attendance and punctuality
