Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad range of interior and exterior maintenance tasks across our communities.

You will support the Maintenance Supervisor by handling repairs, ensuring safety, and upholding resident privacy and property standards. The role requires 1–3 years of prior maintenance experience, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and good communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding Bell Core Values.
• 1–3 years of maintenance in a similar facility preferred.
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repair skills.
• HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications may be required in many communities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance at the community and for equipment as scheduled.
• Address repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and secure proper authority before entering apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are stored safely to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and maintain attendance.
