Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean kitchen.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior cooking experience, and the ability to follow dietary restrictions. Residency in the service area and required certifications may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by State law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep the kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
