Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long‑term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure quality, taste, and presentation, and uphold safety standards.

You will support inventory, interact with residents and staff, and perform other duties as assigned. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior cook/food prep experience are preferred; state requirements may include ServSafe or Food Handler certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with staff and residents.
• Must meet state/county sanitation and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines; keep kitchen clean and orderly.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents and staff, delivering good service.
• All other duties as assigned.
