Job summary

Great Lakes Management is seeking a Resident Assistant in Plymouth, MN. The role includes hands-on care, assisting with ADLs, and supporting residents in dining and activities. The position offers shift differentials and a 401(k) match.

Salary ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 hourly, with responsibilities to communicate with families and report changes to the case manager. Ideal candidates have LTC or assisted living experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or CNA.
• Ability to make responsible choices in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL’s as indicated by the service agreement.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, etc.
