Job summary

Great Lakes Management Company is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant in Bloomington, MN, to offer hands-on care to residents. The role involves assisting with daily activities, providing physical and emotional support, and maintaining communication with families and case managers.

The position requires a commitment to fostering independence in residents and completing necessary documentation. Candidates should ideally have experience in long-term care and be registered as a Nursing Assistant or similar.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living residence preferred.
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as per individual service agreement.
• Help residents maintain independence.
• Provide physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Observe clients and report changes to the case manager.
• Engage with residents to provide reassurance.
• Complete all required documentation daily.
