Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Minnetonka, MN, seeks a dedicated Resident Assistant to support residents in daily living and well-being. The role emphasizes compassionate care, communication with residents and families, and collaboration with the nursing team.

The position offers an evening shift (2:30p-10:45p) with a pay range of $18.00-$24.00 hourly, and benefits such as a 401(k) match. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, along with certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated by the service plan.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe clients and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation daily and update schedules.
