Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant. You will provide hands-on physical and emotional support, assist with ADLs, and communicate with residents, families, and the case manager.

The role operates 6:30 am to 2:45 pm at 5300 Woodhill Rd, Minnetonka. This full-time position offers hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $24.00, shift differentials, and benefits including a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated on the individualized service agreement.
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition to the casemanager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.
