Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living seeks a dedicated Resident Assistant/CNA to support Memory Care residents on the 2nd or 3rd shift in Clinton, TN. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and personal care in a compassionate, secure setting that emphasizes dignity and independence.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, strong communication, and a reliable, patient attitude; shift flexibility and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks.
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary.
• Housekeeping duties as necessary.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:
