Job summary

Morning Pointe Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant/CNA to deliver compassionate care in a memory care setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, help with meals and personal care, and contribute to a respectful, safe environment.

We value reliable teamwork, strong communication, and a can-do attitude. Qualifications include the ability to lift 50 lbs, read/write skills, and a genuine drive to improve quality of life for seniors.

Qualifications

• Possess a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to assist residents.
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, and effective communication with seniors.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic are essential.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math and verbal communication.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living with respect and dignity.
• Aid with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and perineal care.
• Assist residents with meals, serving, and feeding when needed.
• Help with setup, service and feeding; perform light housekeeping duties.
• Participate in training and support other staff as needed.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
