Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant/CNA for Memory Care. Shifts include 1st or 3rd, with duties that focus on daily living activities, meals, and promoting a respectful, compassionate environment for residents.

Ideal candidates are reliable, enjoy caring for others, can lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and have strong reading and writing skills. A can-do attitude and dependable transportation are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and perineal care.
• Assist residents with meals and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.
• Support residents in daily activities and social engagement to promote well-being.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high quality care and comfort for residents.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
