Job summary

Morning Pointe Memory Care Communities is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA to support residents in a memory care environment with compassion and dignity. You will provide daily living assistance, help with activities, and work as part of a caring care team.

Qualifications

• Has a can-do attitude and enjoys caring for others.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic.
• Reads, writes and communicates clearly with basic math skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read and write.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance with dignity and respect.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and meals.
• Support activities and social programs for residents.
• Collaborate with care team to maintain safety and comfort.

We Are Looking For

Resident Assistants/CNAs Are Expected To Accomplish Tasks Outside Of Their Normal Assignments Whenever Necessary To Maintain a Quality Care Environment For Our Residents. As Part Of a Team-oriented Workplace, Resident Assistants Participate In Training Opportunities And Offer Help To Other Areas And Staff In Need. The Typical Work Of a Resident Assistant Can Include

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessaryHousekeeping duties as necessary
