Morning Pointe Memory Care communities are dedicated to providing services that enhance the wellness, lifestyle and enjoyment of senior living. As a Resident Assistant/CNA, you support daily living activities for residents in memory care, across all shifts, in a caring and secure environment with dignity.

We seek individuals with a can-do attitude who enjoy helping others, can read and write, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Training opportunities and team support are provided.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic math skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and compassionate care.
• Reliable transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living with dignity.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks.
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary.
• Light housekeeping and laundry as needed.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
