Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for Memory Care on 1st and 2nd shifts FT with every other weekend. You will assist residents with daily living activities and support memory care residents in a caring, secure environment that promotes dignity and independence.

We value a can-do attitude, compassion, and reliability. The role involves assisting with meals, daily tasks, and light housekeeping, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read and write.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks.
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary.
• Housekeeping duties as necessary.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
