Morning Pointe Memory Care is hiring a Resident Assistant/CNA to support residents in daily activities and specialized memory care. You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility and dignity, while collaborating with a caring team in a secure, compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills required.
• CNA certification preferred or required by state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to residents with dignity.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting as needed.
• Assist residents with meals and feeding; help with setup and service.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment; perform light housekeeping.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
