Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Residency/Fellowship Program Associate in New York, NY. The role provides administrative support for residency programs and leadership under direct supervision.

The candidate will triage communications, manage documentation, assist with letters of recommendation, and ensure compliance with ACGME requirements. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 1 year of related office experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in an office setting.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triages all communications (phone, mail, email, and fax) and initiates actions for the residency program and leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assists the residency program leadership as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of ACGME requirements for administration of residency training programs.
• Attends monthly institutional residency program meetings to stay informed of requirements.
• Assists in data entry, time keeping and distribution; prepares and tracks travel reimbursements.
• Maintains residency documentation/records and files.
• Assists in preparing letters of recommendation/verification of employment/training for residents.
• Distributes correspondence, agendas, reports and schedules.
• Maintains residency program information in systems (e.g., New Innovations).
