NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York is seeking a Residency/Fellowship Program Associate who will provide administrative support for departmental residency programs under direct supervision. Responsibilities include triaging communications, supporting residency program leadership, maintaining documentation, preparing letters of recommendation, and ensuring adherence to ACGME requirements.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree and at least one year of office experience;

Responsibilities

  • Triages all communications (phone, mail, email, and fax) and initiates appropriate action for the residency program and leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assists the residency program and leadership as directed/needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of ACGME requirements for administration of residency training programs.
  • Attends monthly residency program meetings to stay informed of institutional requirements.
  • Assists in data entry, time keeping and distribution; prepares and tracks travel reimbursements.
  • Maintains residency documentation/records and files.
  • Assists in preparing letters of recommendation/verification of employment/training for residents.
  • Distributes correspondence, agendas, reports and schedules.
  • Maintains residency program information in appropriate systems (e.g., New Innovations).

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Residency/Fellowship Program Associate. In this role, the successful candidate under the direct supervision, provides administrative support for activities related to departmental residency programs and departmental residency program leadership.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Triages all communication (phone, mail, email, and fax) and initiates appropriate action on all inquiries when needed for the residency program and residency program leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assists the residency program and residency program leadership as directed/needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of ACGME requirements for administration of residency training programs.
  • Attends monthly institutional residency program meetings as directed to stay informed of institutional requirements for assisting in the administration of residency training programs.
  • Assists in activities such as data entry, time keeping and distribution. Prepares, submits and tracks travel reimbursement requests for residency program.
  • Maintains residency documentation/records and files appropriately.
  • Assists in the preparation of letters of recommendation/verification of employment/training for residents.
  • Distributes correspondence, agendas, reports and schedules (noon conference, master conference schedule, call schedule etc).
  • Maintains residency program information in appropriate systems (ex - New Innovations)
Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have an Associate's Degree is required. Minimum of 1 Year of related experience in an office setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $66,300.00 - $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
