Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a Residency/Fellowship Coordinator for Internal Medicine to support program leadership and the GME Office. You will manage accreditation tasks, recruitment, onboarding, and schedule management to ensure compliance with ACGME requirements.

You will also coordinate evaluations, conferences, and annual program operations, serving as a primary resource for residents, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: Four (4) years of relevant work experience; education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) years’ experience in an academic setting; knowledge of medical terminology and residency programs; experience in ERAS, ACGME, MedHub, C-TAGME, Workday and Qgenda.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate annual Program Evaluation and Clinical Competency Committee meetings with scheduling, materials, reporting and action-item tracking.
• Ensure timely submission of accreditation data to GME/ACGME and maintain GMEC documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and update information for applicants; organize interview logistics and packets.
• Oversee onboarding, licensing, certifications, equipment, workspace, and submission of documents for new residents.
• Create and adjust annual rotation schedules with program leadership to meet curriculum requirements.
• Manage evaluations and prepare reports; schedule and remind about appointments; file forms in resident training files.
• Assist with conferences logistics, AV needs, sign-in, and questionnaires; support Grand Rounds administration.
• Collaborate on program budgets, reimbursements, travel, and equipment requests; maintain PLAs and resident files.
