Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a Fellowship Coordinator to support the GME office and program leadership in compliance with ACGME policies. The role covers accreditation, recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and evaluations, coordinating with the Program Director and Associate Directors.

This non-clinical position is essential for maintaining accreditation. The coordinator handles meetings, documentation, and communications for residents and faculty, working closely with the GME

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience required.
• Knowledge of residency programs and medical education terminology is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare annual Program Evaluation and Committees meetings, including scheduling, material distribution, reporting and minutes.
• Ensure reports are submitted to GME/ACGME by deadlines.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and interview logistics for applicants.
• Oversee onboarding activities for incoming residents and organize orientation events.
• Develop rotation schedules and ensure curriculum requirements are met.
• Manage evaluations and prepare related paperwork and reports.
