Job summary

The New York Foundling is seeking a Residence Supervisor to lead the on-site residence operations, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for individuals supported. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, uphold safety, dignity, and rights, and work with the Residence Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

This role requires 5+ years in residential services with supervisory experience, a valid NY/NJ/PA/CT driver's license, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential services, including 2+ years in supervision.
• Valid Driver's License from NY/NJ/PA/CT with 6 points or less.
• Knowledge of Developmental Disabilities and individualized life plans.
• Budget management and petty cash handling.
• Strong communication and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to Direct Support Professionals and ensure policy adherence.
• Collaborate with MAP, nurses, BIS to support medical and clinical care.
• Develop DSP workforce through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and prepare for audits.
• Coordinate services with external agencies and families.
