Job summary

National Emergency Management and Response seeks reservists to support incident response across the United States on an on-demand basis. Roles involve firefighting, EMT duties, and logistical support during emergencies, with deployments within 24–48 hours.

Candidates must hold Firefighter I and EMT certifications, be willing to obtain additional licenses, and pass background/drug screening. This is not a full-time position; compensation is based on hours worked and job classification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Firefighter I certification is required.
• Current EMT certification or license in state of residence required.
• ICS courses listed must be completed within the stated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to National EMR policies and procedures.
• Foster a culture of safety and report hazards immediately.
• Maintain active status in platforms and complete training as directed.
• Perform clinic duties or provide medical support per mission assignment.
• Provide patient care per certification level and medical protocols.
• Recognize abuse signs and document procedures accordingly.
• Participate in incident management and disaster preparedness activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
