Job summary

National EMR is seeking reservist Paramedics to provide on‑call medical support for incident response. The role emphasizes rapid deployment within 6–12 hours, night and weekend shifts, and the ability to operate in austere conditions during emergencies such as hurricanes, mass casualty events, and wildfires.

Reservists may be deployed as needed and are paid for actual hours worked. A high school diploma, state Paramedic license, and ACLS are required or preferred, with ICS courses listed as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Paramedic license in state of residence required.
• Current Paramedic license in TX/LA/FL/NC preferred.
• ALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Paramedic required.
• ICS 100 – Introduction to Incident Command Systems
• ICS 200 – ics for single resources and Initial Action Incidents
• ICS 700 – National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) and Introduction
• ICS 800 – National Response Framework, An Introduction
• ICS 300 – Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents (must be completed upon hire)
• ICS 400 – Advanced ICS Command and General Staff – Complex Incidents (must be completed upon hire) (Must be completed within 3 months of hire or termination for noncompliance).
• Responsibilities include maintaining readiness, deployment readiness within 6–12 hours, and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Foster team safety culture, adhere to policies, and ensure privacy and HIPAA requirements.

Education
