Job summary

National Emergency Management and Response seeks reservists to support impacted communities and first responders during emergencies. Reservists are deployed intermittently, based on need, with no guarantees on length or frequency, and are paid for actual hours worked.

Must maintain active licenses and be ready to deploy within 6–12 hours of activation, with possible long shifts in austere conditions. This is a field-based, on-call role requiring strict adherence to regulations and rapid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Paramedic license in state of residence required.
• NREMT preferred.
• ALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, enter, and ensure documentation for medical staff at designated site(s).
• Maintain confidentiality of health care records and PHI requirements.
• Direct, and train medical staff, and coordinate services following policies.
• Monitor health care plans for service population at sites within defined timeframes.
• Assist with updating medical protocols and procedures with supervisor.
• Participate in incident management workforce for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery as needed.
• Be available to respond to critical circumstances with flexibility to overcome obstacles.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Maintain active status and readiness to deploy within short notice.

Education

High School Diploma

Paramedic license (state of residence)

Current NREMT (preferred)

ALS certification (preferred)

Experience as Paramedic (1+ year)
