Zusammenfassung

40 National Emergency Management and Response is seeking qualified EMTs to join its reservist cadre. This role supports incidents and emergency deployments, with training and readiness expectations and travel within 24-48 hours of activation.

Responsibilities include patient care, safety adherence, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams during disasters, mass casualty events, and routine deployments. This is not a full-time position, and hours vary based on mission needs.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current EMT Basic certification or license in state of residence.
• Current EMT Basic certification in the state of Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and/or North Carolina preferred.
• Cannot be barred from working in any state.
• Current NREMT preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as an EMT.

Aufgaben

• Understand and adhere to the National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual, Uniform Handbook, and Operations Manual.
• Foster a culture that encourages team members to work safely and report safety concerns.
• Maintain active status within the agency’s platforms and complete training.
• Perform clinic duties as directed or provide medical support or transport services.
• Provide patient care based on certification level and medical protocols.
• Know and recognize signs of abuse and report appropriately.
• Participate in incident management workforce during disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
• Other duties as assigned.
