National Emergency Management and Response seeks reservist EMTs to support incident response with readiness for rapid deployment. You will operate on an as-needed basis, with eligibility to be deployed at short notice and travel to assignment locations within 24–48 hours depending on needs and skill set.

You will maintain current EMT Basic certification and complete required ICS coursework; this role emphasizes flexibility, rigorous safety standards, and commitment to service across multiple

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current EMT Basic certification in the state of residence; current NREMT preferred.
• Minimum of one year EMT experience.
• ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700, ICS 800 required; ICS 300/ICS 400 must be completed upon hire or within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Understand and adhere to National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual and Operations Manual.
• Foster a culture of safety; report hazards to chain of command.
• Maintain active status in agency platforms and complete required training.
• Perform clinic duties or provide medical support/transport as assigned.
• Provide patient care per certification level and medical protocols.
• Recognize signs of abuse, neglect, exploitation; report and document accordingly.
• Participate in incident management workforce for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
• Other duties as assigned.
