Job summary

40 National Emergency Management and Response is seeking EMTs to join our elite cadre as reservist employees. This role involves assisting first responders and impacted communities on an as-needed basis, requiring travel or deployment within 24-48 hours.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and a current EMT Basic certification. Previous experience and completion of specific courses within the first 3 months of hire are essential. This is not a full-time position, and hours are based on actual work performed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current EMT Basic certification or license in state of residence.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as an EMT is required.
• All required courses must be completed within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to the National EMR Policies and Procedures Manual.
• Maintain active status within the agency’s platforms and training.
• Participate in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery initiatives.
