Job summary

Highlands Oncology Group is seeking a Financial Analyst in the Research department to manage end-to-end invoicing, sponsor payments, and study expenses. You will oversee CTMS configurations, assist with budget development, and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and sponsor requirements.

The role collaborates with multiple Highlands teams and external sponsors, performing variance analysis and maintaining audit-ready financial documentation for reviews and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business (Auditing, Finance, Accounting) or Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of medical billing, research, or oncology experience preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, grants, contracts, and clinical trials.
• Knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
• ID.me registration upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end invoicing and patient reimbursements aligned with study budgets and contracts.
• Validate billable items and coordinate with the Business Office for reimbursements.
• Maintain audit-ready financial documentation for internal reviews and sponsor audits.
• Perform account reconciliation, variance analysis, and monitor sponsor payments.
• Oversee CTMS configuration, study setup, and reporting; ensure data integrity and timely payments.
