Job summary

OneOncology seeks a Research Finance Specialist to manage moderately complex accounting tasks, CTMSs, invoicing, and financial reconciliations. You will work under the Sr. Manager of Research Finance and coordinate with the OneR Management Team on contracts and sponsored programs from activation through closeout.

The role emphasizes accuracy in billing, budget reviews, and revenue reporting. The ideal candidate has strong accounting skills, 3+ years’ experience, and CTMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years of applicable experience, or combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience working in a CTMS, preferably Signal Path.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions for Research Department including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, billing and posting payments.
• Build studies in Signal Path CTMS with contract terms, budget, visits and related elements.
• Review study protocol and budget amendments for budget impact.
• Create invoice templates per CTA for each study.
• Collaborate with Research Finance Team and sites to ensure CTMS entries per contract agreements.
• Verify payments align with contracts and reconcile monthly expenses.
• Manage collections for past due payments and reduce payment cycle time.
• Interface with Sponsors/CROs to resolve invoicing issues in a timely manner.
• Serve as liaison for internal/external customers on finance questions.
• Assist in data prep for monthly financial reporting and study close-out reconciliation.
• Additional duties to support the mission of improving lives of cancer patients.
