Job summary

Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation is seeking a Workforce Services Representative 1 underfill for the RESEA program in Fernley. The role involves scheduling and completing initial and follow-up RESEA appointments, assisting unemployed Nevadans with resumes, job search planning, and referrals to employers in the EmployNV system.

You will work both in person and virtually, supporting veterans and others as needed.

Qualifications

• Typing speed of 30 words per minute or better.
• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Strong customer service skills and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to use the resource centre’s tools to search for employment and prep resumes.
• Advise job seekers on self-assessment results and career direction; coach on applications and interviews.
• Conduct orientation sessions and respond to public and employer inquiries about workforce services.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
