Job summary

Iowa Workforce Development in Marshalltown, IA seeks a Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Career Planner to deliver RESEA components, review UI claim status, and guide claimants through program requirements.

You will verify work search activities, promote workshops, assist with registrations and Individual Service Plans, and maintain accurate records. Some travel and telework options after probation are available as part of a full-time job.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Equivalency: education plus up to four years of public contact work experience.
• State executive-branch experience: 12 months as a Workforce Associate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all required RESEA program components during scheduled appointments.
• Review UI claim status with claimants and refer issues to appropriate staff.
• Provide RESEA information and guidance on program requirements.
• Verify compliance with work search requirements and document activities.
• Promote IowaWORKS workshops and register claimants for appropriate services.
• Refer qualified candidates by evaluating electronic applicant searches against job orders.
• Assist customers with completing and maintaining valid work registrations in the database.
• Develop, create, and update Individual Service Plans with customers.
• Prepare and provide RESEA Agreement of Participation outlining responsibilities.
• Facilitate workshops and update materials to reflect program changes.
