Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) seeks a RESEA Career Planner for the IowaWORKS center in Des Moines, IA. The role focuses on delivering RESEA components, assisting claimants with UI and RESEA requirements, and coordinating workshops and participant plans.

The position offers a full-time schedule, with telework and alternate schedules after a six-month probation. Some travel is required to support workforce services and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Equivalent combination of education and public contact experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience in the state executive branch with at least twelve months of full-time Workforce Associate work.

Responsabilités

• Deliver all required RESEA program components during scheduled participant appointments.
• Review UI claim status with claimants and refer issues to the appropriate staff.
• Provide RESEA information and guidance on program requirements.
• Verify work search compliance and document activities.
• Promote workshops and register claimants for services.
• Refer qualified candidates by evaluating electronic applicant searches against job orders.
• Assist customers with work registrations and maintain records in the database.
• Develop and update Individual Service Plans with customers.
• Prepare RESEA Agreements of Participation outlining requirements and responsibilities.
• Facilitate workforce program workshops and update materials as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation of services, appointments and activities.
