Job summary

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) seeks a RESEA Career Planner for the IowaWORKS Center in Mason City, IA. This full-time role supports RESEA components, UI claim reviews, and workforce services to help customers achieve stable employment.

Location is Mason City with standard hours; telework and alternate schedules may be possible after successful probation and training. Occasional travel is required to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering RESEA program components
• Strong customer service and coaching skills
• Ability to document activities accurately and manage case notes

Responsibilities

• Deliver all required RESEA program components during scheduled participant appointments
• Review UI claim status and refer issues to appropriate staff
• Provide RESEA information and guidance on program requirements
• Verify compliance with work search requirements and document activities
• Promote workshops and register claimants for services
• Assist customers with completing and maintaining work registrations in the database
• Develop and update Individual Service Plans with customers
• Prepare RESEA Agreement of Participation and explain responsibilities
• Facilitate workforce workshops and update materials as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and client activities in the database
