Job summary

ADT is seeking a Resale Sales Representative to reactivate interest with existing customers and reintroduce modern security solutions. You will work within a designated territory, leveraging a high-touch, consultative sales approach to build trust and close deals.

You’ll present personalized security and automation solutions, manage follow-ups, and identify new opportunities while traveling as needed with mileage reimbursement. Training and uncapped commissions promise strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Re-engage previous customers, not cold-calling strangers. Shorter sales cycles, higher conversion, and lasting relationships.
• Provide personalized solutions that combine security, automation, and life safety features.
• Deliver compelling presentations and proposals highlighting product advantages over competitors.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating new sales leads.
