Job summary

Foley, Incorporated is seeking a Fleet Manager to optimize performance across the Rental Services division in the United States. The role focuses on maximizing utilization, availability, and profitability through data-driven analysis and strategic asset management.

You will collaborate with Caterpillar and other OEM partners, work with rental sales to ensure fleet alignment with demand, and partner with service and operations to boost fleet readiness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in equipment rental, construction equipment, fleet management, maintenance, or service operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment, rental operations, and lifecycle management.
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of diagnostics, repair, reliability, and fleet performance.
• Advanced analytical and business skills including Excel, Power BI, data analysis, P&L interpretation, and logistics planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet performance to maximize utilization, availability, and profitability.
• Analyze fleet data to identify shortages, surpluses, aging equipment, and underperforming assets and take corrective actions.
• Develop fleet acquisition, forecasting, budgeting, and disposal strategies to optimize asset lifecycle.
• Collaborate with OEM partners on equipment quoting, ordering, and delivery schedules.
• Partner with rental sales teams to align fleet with customer demand and business objectives.
• Work with service and operations leaders to improve fleet readiness and drive efficiency.
• Provide inventory and equipment recommendations to leadership and support continuous improvement.
