Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Region Fleet Manager to optimize the company fleet to meet revenue and profitability goals. You will develop and execute fleet plans under the guidance of the Region Vice President, ensuring alignment with corporate fleet policy.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration with finance and operations, and strategic vendor relationships to maximize utilization and asset value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5-7 years fleet management experience preferred.
• Field operations management experience with fleet optimization desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional finance and Corporate Fleet Management to analyze metrics (Dollar Utilization, Time Utilization, etc.).
• Drive fleet optimization by identifying best practices and implementing corrective actions with DMs and BMs.
• Coordinate fleet transfers, sales packages, and regional/distribution operations as needed.
• Manage fleet mix and age in alignment with market trends and company objectives.
• Track usage/movement of non-rental fleet and dispose of excess assets for maximum return.
