Job summary

Mustang Rental Services seeks an experienced Fleet Manager to guide fleet strategy, utilization, and capital planning across its growing rental operations in Houston. You will manage lifecycle decisions from acquisition to disposition, ensuring the right equipment in the right market at the right time.

You will work with Operations, Sales, Service, and Logistics to translate demand into investments, monitor ROIC, and drive performance dashboards that inform leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in fleet management or asset management.
• Experience in equipment rental or related capital-intensive operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of ROI/ROIC and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fleet strategies aligned with business growth and ROIC.
• Plan and manage equipment purchases, redeployments, rotations, and dispositions.
• Optimize fleet mix across rental categories and monitor utilization metrics.
• Lead fleet positioning across branches to support market demand and major projects.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Sales, and Service to optimize equipment readiness and reduce downtime.
