Job summary

Lonestar Forklift, part of Leavitt Industrial Group, is hiring a Rental Coordinator for Austin, Texas. You will manage and coordinate equipment rentals within a defined territory and support the Sales team and customers by phone.

The role emphasizes internal collaboration with the Service department, contract administration, and accurate quoting and market monitoring to drive fleet utilization.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, sales, operations, or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM is an asset.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Rental Coordinator to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating equipment rentals within an assigned territory.

As a Rental Coordinator for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage internal and external rentals requests within a designated territory
• Partner with internal Service department employees to prioritize shop items
• Support Sales Representatives with current customers and manage key account relationships over the phone; ensure leads are captured and monitor fleet utilization
• Administer contracts and monitor billing of machinery on rentals
• Manage quoting and territory market changes

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• 1 to 3 years of related work experience in a sales or a customer service environment
• Post-secondary education in business, sales, operations, or a related discipline
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Microsoft CRM is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently

The base pay for this role is: $50,000 to $56,000 per year depending on experience, plus bonuses.

This is an onsite role based in Austin, Texas.
