Job summary

Echo Global Logistics is seeking an Associate Software Support Engineer to join the End User Computing team in Reno, NV. You will be the primary contact for end users, resolving issues across Echo and ITS core applications, while documenting solutions and communicating progress to stakeholders.

You will analyze code, contribute to bug fixes, drive automation, and support deployments and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of application support or relevant technical experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies.
• Solid object-oriented programming fundamentals; ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Basic experience with SQL and APIs (HTTP methods; tools like Postman a plus)
• Familiarity with C# and/or VB.Net is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced application support and resolve user issues end-to-end
• Manage and prioritize tickets; investigate, escalate, and document solutions
• Analyze code and contribute to bug fixes and enhancements
• Drive automation and process improvements
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation
• Lead or support deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Partner with Service Desk, Dev, QA, and Infrastructure teams
• Perform root cause analysis and improve system reliability
• Support onboarding and cross-training of team members
• Participate in on-call rotation (24/7 support)
