SmartBear in Somerville, MA is seeking a Renewals Specialist to strengthen customer relationships, drive renewals, and maximize the long-term value of our software investments. You will engage customers, promote adoption, and collaborate with internal teams on upsell opportunities while supporting a consistent renewal experience.

This role requires 1–2 years in a customer-facing role, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills, with the option to work onsite or remotely as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role; sales, account management, customer success, or software experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A customer-focused, service-oriented approach and the ability to build trusted relationships across organizational levels.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and consultative communication skills, including the ability to engage customers remotely or onsite as needed.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with others while taking ownership of individual results.

• Engage customers proactively to understand business priorities, align SmartBear solutions to their goals, and support timely renewals.
• Develop lasting customer relationships that improve retention and lifetime customer value.
• Encourage product adoption and license utilization by helping customers navigate onboarding and ongoing use.
• Identify customer needs and collaborate on relevant upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the SmartBear portfolio.
• Monitor customer product experiences and recommend actions that improve satisfaction, performance, and success.
• Partner with internal teams to address customer needs and support a consistent renewal experience.
