SmartBear is seeking a Renewals Specialist to proactively engage customers, aligning SmartBear solutions with their goals and securing timely renewals. You will build lasting relationships to maximize retention and customer lifetime value, while driving adoption and identifying upsell opportunities across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support a positive renewal experience, and operate flexibly across remote or onsite environments as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer-facing role; sales, account management, customer success, or software experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Customer-focused, service-oriented approach and the ability to build trusted relationships across organizational levels.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and consultative communication skills; ability to engage customers remotely or onsite as needed.

• Build trusted relationships with customers to support renewals, retention, and long-term loyalty.
• Help customers realize value from their software investments through adoption and proactive engagement.
• Identify opportunities for account growth by aligning customer needs with additional SmartBear solutions.
• Engage customers proactively to understand business priorities and support timely renewals.
• Develop lasting customer relationships that improve retention and lifetime value.
• Encourage product adoption and license utilization by guiding onboarding and ongoing use.
• Identify customer needs and collaborate on upsell/cross-sell opportunities across the SmartBear portfolio.
• Monitor customer product experiences and recommend actions to improve satisfaction and success.
• Partner with internal teams to address customer needs and ensure a consistent renewal experience.
